Happy Birthday

I have a friend whose birthday is today. Yet I do have the chance to let her receive a birthday wish. Sadly, I do not have her contact number.

I remember her birthday because she is an important person in my life. You may be wondering if she is important, why I do not have her contact. Good question. I also wonder why.

I remember the first time when I saw her, it was twelve years ago and she was playing basketball with her sister. I was thinking how come she is so lousy in basketball. LOL

Later, we got to know each other because she joined my friends and I for a game. We soon get to know each other better. She was from RGS and I was SP. She was smart, she speaks good English while I was of normal grades in studies and I speak Hokkien. So one heaven one earth, one chicken one duck, we became good friends. I guessed this is what they said opposite attracts. LOL

We lost contact with each other because she needs to study for her 'O'. RGS students are really different. There are things on earth which I do not understand and I will never understand, which is the difference between both of us. I have never study hard for my examination, but she had put in so much effort even for just a test. The best was she only goes to Swensen and other high class restaurant for meals and me being a poor person, who even needs to work to pay for my school fee, how can I join her for meal when she asked me out? Sighed.

I continued to contact her after her "O' level. Before she got together with a guy, she asked me this questions. "Why would you to contact me even after we lost contact for such a long time?"

This question stunned me. Right, why do I wait for her? It has been 3 years since we contact each other. I did not reply. Shortly after that incident, she got together with a guy and we lost contact again.

The next time we resumed contact was during my university day. I got to know that she would be going through Baptism so I attended her Baptism and I took a photo with her. we kept in contact for 3 years.

Soon when she becomes a lawyer, we lost contact again.

So this is the reason for losing contact with each other until today.

Do you agree that fate is a very weird thing. When I find that you are important, you have disappeared. All that has left behind is the sweet things we have done for each other. And the last thing I can do is regret.

Anyway, I do not care if you can receive it, I want to say this.
